"Vivaldi's 'Four Seasons" is the most common piece of music but of tens of albums this one is my favourite. Karajan's version is intimate but managed. And soloist Schwalbe is fine and natural (compared to many - for instance Ann-Sophie Mutter's late - strange over-interpretations). The recording is excellent too, it has cosy feeling of space and presence.
