This huge volume 1086 pages is great for all those who want to learn the Danish words for so many things never considered. Take a look that the pics below: If you are French, you may think what do they call a mouche (fly) in Danish, look the word up in the index and go right to the page. Now you can learn about other insects too in French, German, Danish, Spanish and English. What about if you are into skating look at the other pic and learn terms related to skating. Can do same for food, cars, 1000s of categories. I have used this book for things like hardward items, automobile, household terms - really helps you get a grip on the words and also related it to the images. Much better than a translate app, since you get to see a pic and related items. Great resource for all those struggling with Danish. Only drawback to the book, it is very large volume, weighs 2300g so not something that is fun to carry around and the print is very small (6 or 8 font) so may need a magnifying glass depending on your sight. Have given these books as gifts to many new Danes, who have used them regularly and really appreciated having this book at home for reference. This is my copy, very good slightly used condition, since it is my second one and rarely opened this one. My first one is still with me, pretty worn out but keeping it for my own needs. Very useful.
