All Gavia models are provided with the Gore-Tex® membrane through which the Gavia is waterproof and windproof, combined with optimized breathability. Made out of PU, a technological microfiber that has comparable capabilities as leather. In the development of the SIDI Gavia Gore-Tex® a lot of attention was put into the comfort of the booth. A lot of afford was also going out to the way the booth was put-on, and therefore they added a Velco strap closure in combination with two buckles. With the Velco strap closure SIDI managed to increased the comfort of putting on- and off the Gavia Gore-Tex® booth. Gore-Tex® waterproof and windproof membrane, with optimized breathability. Velcro strap closure and two buckles. Inner gaiter. Plastic support on the ankle area. Elastic panel on the calf area. Back reflective inserts. Nylon inner sole with removable arch support.
